The announcement of this year’s Sabre and CIPR Excellence Award finalists sees Red clock up an impressive 16 award nominations so far in 2009. These include CIPR, Sabre and Sport Industry Awards in the UK plus Sabre and PR Week Awards across the pond in the USA.
The following Red campaigns have made the shortlist for the CIPR Excellence Awards and the Sabre Awards:
CIPR Excellence Awards
- Bassetts – Best Media Relations Campaign for the launch of Betty Bassett and Red Liquorice Allsorts
- McAfee – Best Global PR Campaign for The S.P.A.M. (Spammed Persistently All Month) Experiment
- McDonald’s – Best Corporate Responsibility Campaign for the “Mums on the Ball” kids football coaching programme
- Pfizer – Best Healthcare Campaign for the “Get Real, Get a Prescription” counterfeit medicines campaign
Sabre Awards
- Nintendo – UK & Ireland (£50k - £100k fees) category for the launch of the wii fit console
- National Lottery Promotions Unit – UK & Ireland (£100k+ fees) category for the “Good Causes” roadshow
- McDonald’s – Restaurant & Food Service category for the “Mums on the Ball” kids football coaching programme
