Red has been appointed to run the combined Avis and Budget UK PR business after the brands amalgamated their marketing functions.
Red, together with its digital arm Shiny Red, will oversee and manage communications activity, strategy and press offices for both brands in consumer, corporate and digital sectors.
The
Avis campaign will centre around the
‘We Try Harder’ message of the brand, for example through Avis Eco innovations including the introduction of the VW BlueMotion Golf.
Budget’s activities will focus on its
‘Simply Better Value’ message of affordability through programmes like Fastbreak for frequent renters.
Work will target UK holiday-makers both overseas and at home and, in the corporate market, SMEs will be a key target as well as the UK fleet sector.
