The Yellow Pages team celebrated the achievements of ‘Senior Startups’ – enterprising over 50s who start up their own businesses.
Their study into businesses run by over 50s found that this inspiring group of older entrepreneurs contribute a whopping £24 billion to the economy, with 1 in 6 businesses started by over 50s - stats which made their way onto BBC Breakfast, BBC News 24 and Five Live, as well as the Express, Telegraph and the Daily Star.
The study was part of Yellow Pages wider mission to champion and celebrate small business owners –supported by a brand new ‘business advisor’ section to their website, provided by Red, as well as sponsorship of the over-50s category at the Startups Awards.
