Red is helping McDonald's bring community football to the Home Of Football.
Today sees over 700 youngsters from across the country follow in the footsteps of their footballing heroes by playing at Wembley Stadium as part of the annual The FA/ McDonald's National Festival.
The event is organised by McDonald’s, The FA’s Community Partner, and The FA and is the pinnacle of this summer’s McDonald’s Football Open Day tour, which has seen McDonald’s franchisees partner with local football clubs to host free football Open Days in communities across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The football continues on Sunday with The FA Community Shield, the traditional English football season curtain-raiser which sees Chelsea take on Manchester United.
Red has co-ordinated a whole of activities for McDonald’s, the Presenting Partner of The FA Community Shield, including media opportunities with McDonald's football ambassadors, on-pitch entertainment, ticket competitions and sourcing Player Escorts to lead out the teams.
