MySpace Win For Red

Red has been appointed by MySpace UK.

The wide-ranging brief covers brand and product PR, along with digital, B2B, corporate and issues management support.

The account team will be headed up by Red’s head of consumer brands, Matt Buchanan. Matt said: “Millions of people use MySpace everyday to bring their online and offline lives together and the brand has played a huge role in this country’s cultural revolution over the past five years. We’re looking forward to adding our creative flare to MySpace’s PR and connecting the brand with consumers, partners and stakeholders.”

Red will report to director of communications for MySpace UK, Alice Regester. Alice added: “2009 is another big year for MySpace and we’re excited to have Red on board to help drive user growth and acquisition and support us in managing MySpace’s brand reputation.”
