Red today helped The Department of Children, Schools and Families launch the latest activity in its “Why Let Drink Decide?” campaign.
Ex Arsenal and England footballer Martin Keown and Minister of State for Schools, Vernon Coaker, met local football-inspired kids at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium to kick off the ‘Why Let Drink Decide?’ Kickz Cup 2010.
Over 2,000 young people from across the country will take part in the tournament which aims to provide a positive alternative to drinking alcohol and encourage them to have an open and honest conversation about alcohol’s dangers and consequences. Games will be played at major English football clubs from 27 February until the final in May which will take place at Manchester United Football Club.
