Red picks up Carling and Coors Light in a double win
The Red Consultancy has won both the Carling and Coors Light pieces of business in two separate competitive pitches.
Both brands are owned by Coors Brewers Limited.
The brief for Carling is to build a campaign which maximises product news announcements while at the same time promoting the brand’s ‘sociability’ credentials.
The Carling campaign will be run by Deputy MD, Ed Staples. “Our job is to make sure that the PR keeps pace with the rest of the recent changes to the way the brand presents itself – from the successful ‘You Know Who Your Mates Are’ advertising through to the fonts at the bar. Carling’s a legendary brand with plenty of new product news for us to work with – it’s a great addition to the agency.”
For Coors Light, Red’s brief is to amplify the new brand advertising and bring alive the brand’s irreverent and light-hearted personality through media relations and a strong digital campaign.
The Coors Light account will be run by Head of Consumer Brands, Matt Buchanan. “It’s an exciting time to begin working with the Coors Light team as they embark on a fully integrated marketing push. It’s going to be a big summer for Coors Light and PR will play a crucial role in building a loyal customer base for the brand.”
