Red Sponsorship Campaigns Shortlisted For Industry Awards

Red's campaigns for McDonald's have been shortlisted for two awards.

Red's work on taking McDonald's community football programme to new audiences through the Mums On The Ball campaign has been named a finalist in both the CIPR Excellence Awards and the Sabre Awards.

It's up for the Best Corporate Responsibility Campaign award at the CIPR Excellence Awards and in the Restaurant & Food Service category at the Sabre Awards.

These are just two of the eight nominations Red received in total for this year's CIPR and Sabre Awards, the rest being:

CIPR Excellence Awards

  • Bassetts – Best Media Relations Campaign for the launch of Betty Bassett and Red Liquorice Allsorts
  • McAfee – Best Global PR Campaign for The S.P.A.M. (Spammed Persistently All Month) Experiment
  • Pfizer – Best Healthcare Campaign for the “Get Real, Get a Prescription” counterfeit medicines campaign

Sabre Awards

  • Nintendo – UK & Ireland (£50k - £100k fees) category for the launch of the wii fit console
  • National Lottery Promotions Unit – UK & Ireland (£100k+ fees) category for the “Good Causes” roadshow
  • McAfee – Technology category for The S.P.A.M. (Spammed Persistently All Month) Experiment
