
Amanda has been a PR consultancy for 20 years and joined Red on the first day of business in October 1994.
Her work has covered most PR disciplines and market sectors but she currently provides strategic in-put and oversees most of Red’s public sector work as well as Red Health and the Johnson & Johnson skincare/beauty brand portfolio (Johnson’s Baby; Neutrogena, RoC, Piz Buin).
She has created and directed many award winning campaigns in the consumer health, ethical healthcare and public education spheres. These include educating mums on children’s health issues (nutrition, baby-bonding, vaccination, coughs and colds); launching new government education and awareness initiatives (young people & alcohol, burglary and crime prevention, parenting skills); raising awareness of diseases and treatments (oncology, urology, arthritis, sexual health); and directing disease prevention campaigns (smoking cessation, hand & respiratory hygiene, lifestyle MOTs).
Her current public sector clients include: DCSF; National Lottery Promotions Unit; Department of Health (NHS Lifecheck). On the ethical healthcare side, her current clients include: Pfizer, Wyeth and Novartis.
