Communiqué Awards Success - Best Use of New Media
A creative online strategy designed to help women make the right contraception choices has been highly commended by judges at the 2008 Communiqué Awards.
Online Contraception Evening Surgery developed by Red was judged to have “perfectly matched the target audience with the use of Microsoft Live. The partnership was a stroke of genius.”
This is one of a number of on-line communications strategies developed by Red in the healthcare arena. By understanding where audiences are accessing information, PR strategies can be developed that fully utilise the media now available.
Commenting on the commendation, Bayer Schering Pharma account team director Georgie Whittaker said: “The online evening surgery was effective because it was simple, confidential and easy to evaluate. Most of all it spoke to the women we wanted to reach.”
