The National Lottery helps hundreds of little-known good causes around the UK, so we took some of the best local stories web-wide.

Peter Crouch guest starred in a video shot at East London football academy supported by National Lottery funding. As well as showing off his ball control, the short and snappy film showed how Lottery money helps kids at the project learn new skills.

We shared the footage with online blogs and communities, including rugby fans, swimming clubs and gardening enthusiasts generating 15 pieces of online coverage and driving traffic to the National Lottery Good Causes website too.
