Red has been hired by Cadbury Trebor Bassett to work on a Bassetts Allsorts launch in 2009.
The fun brief involves a mixture of PR, digital and event focussed activity to ignite brand passion for the heritage confectionery brand. The consumer brands team at Red will be joining forces with its digital arm, Shiny Red, for the campaign.
The six figure account will be headed up by Red’s Director of Consumer Brands, Jo Slatem, who said, “Bertie Bassett is a national institution and a celebrity in his own right. 2009 sees a new era for him and we’re looking forward to having some fun with the Bassetts brand and engaging audiences of all ages in an entertaining launch early next year.”
Senior Brand Manager at Cadbury, Martin Driver added, “We’re excited to be working with Red on this campaign. They showed creativity and passion in their presentation which we believe will engage both customers and Cadbury staff equally in the fun of the Bassett’s brand in 2009”.
Red also works with Cadbury on its Dairy Milk brand which it won in February this year.
