Account Director – Corporate

We are recruiting for an Account Director to join our Corporate and Technology (C&T) team. C&T works with great household brands across aviation, housebuilding & construction, beauty, manufacturing, consumer goods, technology, logistics and financial and professional services. Our client set is incredibly varied, and we are lucky enough to boast many household names.

This role will be working primarily on our Corporate clients, working thought leadership, reputation building and media relations campaigns for key consumer brand clients. We are therefore looking for someone knowledgeable on and connected with a wide spectrum of broadcast, print, online and social media influencers within national media, as well as strong client consultancy skills.

We welcome applications from established, Senior Account Managers ready to step up, through to experienced Account Directors looking for a sideways move and challenge on these exciting clients.

What you'll be doing

Account Manager – Consumer (Play)

We are recruiting for Senior Account Executives / Account Managers to join our Consumer (Play) team. Play works with great brands across leisure and lifestyle including gaming, travel, mobile technology and home entertainment.

The Account Manager will be working full time on a major gaming brand looking after PR and influencer work for AAA titles. We are therefore looking for people who are incredibly knowledgeable on and connected with a wide spectrum of gaming broadcast, national, specialist and lifestyle media as well as creators within gaming.

What you'll be doing
  • Driving campaigns forward and coordinating activity on a busy account
  • Effectively managing a range of coverage generating techniques –building and managing reviews programs, securing spokesperson interviews, developing proactive features and news generation
  • Applying your knowledge of the news & social agenda to client campaigns and using it to generate opportunities
  • Maximising your extensive contacts list to drive SOV and awareness for the brand – during launch and momentum periods
  • Using your gaming knowledge to identify new creators to engage with, draft copy and generate ideas that will resonate with specialist media and gaming correspondents at national and lifestyle publications
  • Be tapped into wider culture to understand what influencers and partners brands should be working with
Who you are
  • An established Senior Account Exec or Account Manager with gaming agency/client experience
  • An excellent team player with great communication skills
  • Excellent media relations within consumer tech, particularly gaming
  • Influencer campaign experience – especially with gaming creators – would be a bonus
  • Proficient in developing creative and impactful content for a variety of needs
