Immense anticipation and secrecy around Sky’s first season of House of the Dragon meant the social launch was beset with challenges.


A one-size-fits-all approach wouldn’t work so we created ‘Houses’ for the fans with different content targeted at different types of viewers – from the Matt Smith lovers to the 2am club of hardcore fans waiting for each episode to drop.

Content varied from capturing red-carpet thrills to encouraging fans to work out their dragon name.

Content had excellent engagement and viewership, helping HOTD become Sky’s biggest ever series premiere on Sky Atlantic.
