Christmas was set to be bleak for the nation’s homeless young people, with new data revealing that 23,000 young homeless would likely go hungry over the not so ‘festive’ season.


Our attention-grabbing photo stunt with celebrity Chef Aldo Zilli brought to life the extreme indulgence many households enjoy, in stark contrast to foods young homeless people eat on Christmas Day.

We re-created a decadent Christmas dinner with all the trimmings on one side, and on the other were the leftovers or takeaways that many young homeless people are left to eat.

With Aldo as our spokesperson, we released the image to media alongside hard-hitting new statistics.
