Virgin Money work with Macmillan Cancer Support  to help people living with cancer get the financial support they need.


Almost one in four (23%) of those living with cancer in the UK found it easier to talk about their cancer itself than the impact it had on their finances.

With more than 2.5million people across the UK diagnosed with cancer, Virgin Money enlisted Red’s support to help normalise the conversation around cancer and money.

We launched the Virgin Money Macmillan Guides, a first of its kind, where customer-facing Virgin Money colleagues received training that helps them offer specialist advice to customers affected or living with cancer.

Following a successful 12-month pilot, Virgin Money announced a national rollout  and a number of other banks also joined forces with Macmillan to do the same.
